When Rich was 8 years old, he was walking down a street in Kittitas with Mark Bryant. A small, black kitten ran up to them. |

The cat followed them to the home of Rich's Grand
parents (Fred and Kathryn Gilmour). Rich fell in love
with his new friend and named her Shadow.
Shadow lived for 16 years at the home Rich grew
up in (and maybe a few neighbor's homes too...).She
was one of the best cats ever.
