Skyhorn the Unicorn
In Blanco's Magic Tails, Skyhorn was one of the very first animals to arrive on Earth through Soy's doorway. He was a serious and tough-minded animal with a strong sense of justice, and was one of Soy's closest friends. Skyhorn was always near Soy (who spent most days sitting in Big Tree's branches). Soy would tell Skyhorn and whatever other animals were nearby, her Tails and described all she had seen and experienced on her journey with Raven. Just before Coyote started to cause trouble (Tail Five), a beautiful female unicorn named Moondance stepped through Soy's doorway. She and Skyhorn become best friends immediately.
There are many myths and legends about unicorns from all over the world. Were they only creatures of myth, or did they really exist at one time...? In Europe, it was believed that if a unicorn touched a pool of water with its horn, the water would be purified. They loved innocence and purity and were often the symbols of these things.
If a unicorn comes to you in a dream or meditation, it could mean you are understanding and developing your personal power. You may be realizing that your ideas, dreams and ambitions are good and powerful, and worthy of pursuit. You are the only one who can bring them about, and a visit from a unicorn can mean that you should move ahead with your ideas. You are on the 'road to success'! Unicorns also represent possible fame or recognition for your deeds, and prosperity.
