Hanuman, the Spider Monkey
Hanuman got his name from the Hindu monkey god. In Magic Tails Hanuman was one of the very first creatures to pass through Soy's doorway. He arrived on Earth riding on the back of Ogugu the gorilla. Hanuman liked to play in the branches of Big Tree with the other animals. Sometimes he wandered into the forest, but not very often - he enjoyed the wide open space of the meadow.
The monkey is highly revered in India, Japan, China, West Africa, and Mayan mythology.
If a monkey like Hanuman comes to you in a dream, meditation, or every day life, it could mean that a solution to a problem you face will reveal itself to you suddenly. You may already be very good at solving problems and can probably lend help to others with their problems. A monkey can also mean that you need to get serious about a situation you are involved in - it may be time to stop playing around.
