Grand Falls, Arizona is one of the great 'unknown' wonders of Arizona. You can only find it of you know exactly where to look. It's located about 45 miles east of Flagstaff just inside the Navajo reservation and is part of the Little Colorado river. It's like a chocolate milk Niagara Falls - although not as wide, Grand Falls is taller. When there is rain or snow, the falls are spectacular. Even when there isn't much water, they're still beautiful! These photos were taken during a dry period in Arizona in 2001. There is some water, but not much. This was actually cool because it allowed us to hike down to an area below the falls not accessible if there was a lot of water. Some of these photos are available as large 13" X 19" prints.
