            Interesting Information about
                              Magic Tails and the Characters

Inspired by the various mythologies and shamanic practices of the world, these stories teach children to respect and love the Earth, the wisdom of listening to their dreams, and how to deeply honor the beauty and magic that is everywhere around them.

Magic Tails are narrated by a special cat named Blanco.Blanco Tailspinner - Narrotor of Magic Tails

Blanco is much more than a normal housecat—on nights when the Moon is in the right place, Blanco transforms into his true self and tells his friends Lars Ravenkeep and Naiya Gypsum amazing stories about the Universe and the beginnings of life on Earth.

In these unique stories, the Universe and Earth's histories are re-envisioned by tying the diverse mythologies of the world's many cultures together in the mythical realm of Atlantis.

Soy and raven over Atlantis

In this world, an amazing cat named Soy brings life to the lands of Earth. But as Soy discovers, there is a much more ancient, richer and deeper history to Earth's story than her own.

Soy

Dolfnir the dolphin opens her eyes to the knowledge that Earth and the Universe's stories are much older than she had thought...

Follow Soy on her journey of magic and discovery—a journey that takes her (and you!) into the secrets and mysteries of the Universe and beyond...

Books that mature with the reader

Something else that makes Magic Tails so unique is that the stories mature and get more complex as the readers age.

The 1st 5 books are written at 7 year old reading levels. With each new story, the reading level advances bit by bit. Each 5th story is more advanced—an introduction to the reading level for the next 5 books.

The next cycle of stories is written at 8 year old reading levels, and so on through 11 year old reading levels. There are 25 stories planned for that period of reading.

At the 12 year old thru 14 year old reading levels, a series of graphic novels called The Atlantis Chronicles is planned.

The humans arrive on Earth in Magic Tails Chapter 17 - Heimdall Saves the People. Their story takes up Magic Tails Chapters 18 thru 25.

At that point, the humans spread out across the continent (Pangea) of Atlantis. The graphic novel series The Atlantis Chronicles will tie together the various mythologies of the world. The myths we all know and love will play out and be intertwined with the story of Soy, the Ravenkeep family in Flagstaff, AZ, and the Gypsums in Cairo, Egypt.
