Om-Lae, the Harp Seal



Om-Lae was a harp seal who loved to play in the water with Arp, the brown
seal. She arrived on Earth through Soy's doorway long after it opened -
about 50 years. The first thing she saw was the ocean, and after being
greeted by the animals near the doorway, headed straight for it and met
Arp. She never swam further than the lagoon (none of the animals wandered
too far from the meadow at first).

Harp seals are sacred to the Inuit and Eskimo people of North America.
They represented abundance and prosperity since the
harp seal was one of the only sources of food to them.

If a harp seal comes to you in a dream, meditation, or every day life,
it could mean you will enter a time of abundance and prosperity. You
should give thanks to the Creator for these gifts you will receive. Since
harp seals are such gentle and loving creatures, it can also mean that
you are becoming more gentle and loving - or that you should try to
be this way more often.
