Soy's Doorway of Dreams



In Blanco's Magic Tails, Coyote told Soy the magic cat to draw a
doorway in the dreamworld. Coyote told her that the door would appear
in her world when she woke, and that she could make a wish to it.

Soy made a wish and the doorway burst open. 
Animals of every size, shape and color poured from it in a constant
flow - the characters of these Tails.

The doorway is very mysterious (and so is Coyote for that matter)...
Each night at sunset, just as Soy would begin to tell her Tail, the flow of
animals halted. While the door remained open, nothing emerged from it
at night. Every morning at sunrise, the next wave of animals would begin
to appear and wander onto Earth, smiling and sometimes singing happily

'Doorways' and 'portals' are a common theme in all these Tails.
If one appears before you in a dream or meditation, be careful!
Try to become more aware that you are dreaming, and look at the door.
Study it if you can. What are your feelings about the door? Your first
instinct is almost always the correct choice. If the doorway or portal
is a place of beauty and feels good, it's probably safe to pass through.
If it looks scary to you or conjures feelings of fear, anger or sadness -
you may want to reconsider entering it. Usually, portals are doorways
to parts of ourselves. They can take you to scenes from your past.
Sometimes, when people start to make a point of remembering their
dreams, they are taken back to scenes from their past - memories that
have been forgotten for some reason. They can be very intense, so this is
why I warn you to check out how the doorway feels before hopping through
it. You may run into a memory you aren't prepared to remember...

Also, be warned because a person can send a portal to you on the
astral plane with dark intent. Powerful, psychic people who misuse their
gifts to harm or frighten others are out there. Never forget it. If you
know of someone in your life who could do such a thing, be careful
before passing through any doorways without really seeing how it makes
you feel. If it makes you feel woozy and tired - watch out! If there is
warm, glowing light pouring from it and makes you feel good, try
stepping through. You may enjoy what you find on the other side...

They can also be portals to other worlds and higher dimensions on the
astral plane. If you become more aware in your dreams that you are
dreaming, you can begin to have some control over where you're going.

I've visited a variety of planets and other worlds in my dreams.
I'm still trying to gain more control over them so I can direct when and
where it is I go. It's still sort of chaotic when I travel. One night I'll
have visited Mars 10,000,000 years ago, the next I've gone to Mars again,
but am hundreds of years in the future. I highly recommend trying to
create portals on the astral plane to travel through space, time
and the multi-layered dimensions that are all around us.
I especially recommend it of you are trying to figure out what your
past lives were. Some great advice I received once in regards to
discovering what my past lives were, was to trust only my dreams,
visions, and inner voice to reveal them to me. I'm always wary
when someone else tells me what my past lives were unless I'm
involved with them on a personal level. If what they've said
correspond to my own ideas, I'm more likely to listen to what they
have to say...
