Arp, the Brown Seal



Arp was a fun and happy character in Magic Tails. His name was inspired by 
the sound most seals make. He became friends with Om-Lae the harp seal
right away. They spent a lot of time playing in the ocean.

If a brown seal comes to you in dreams, meditation, or everyday life, it 
could mean that you are being protected while going through a life changing 
situation or if you are in danger. If people are gossiping and saying
mean things about you behind your back, the seal will help you feel strong
regardless of what has been said and will protect your spirit.

A brown seal visited me in several dreams over a 3 week period. This was
during a time when people were saying evil and malicious untruths about
me and people I love behind my back. In the dreams, the seal came to me
in the middle of frightening scenes.

In one, I was standing at the edge of a short cliff overlooking the ocean -
a storm raged behind me, the water ahead was still and calm. The seal told
me to follow it and dove into the ocean. I felt afraid for a moment. I
remember thinking, "But, the storm is behind me and a big wave is going
to come and drown me!" I  let go of the fear I felt, and dove into 
the water to swim after the seal. The water was warm and calm, and the
wave I thought would drown me never came. The seal took me to a cave
that was in a cliff above the water. It told me I would be safe there. I
climbed into the cave and felt calm and secure.

This dream helped me feel that even though people were spreading negative
and false rumors about me, I was going to be okay. The cave was a place I
could go to meditate on protection.
